Biography

Real name Peter-Marcel Kurt Czák,( born 1982 in Vienna) is an Austrian music producer and label owner.

Because of his parents´ profession, Peter Czak was raised in Budapest, Bern and Bonn (1982 – 1993). He lives in Vienna since 1993. Early on in his life in the 90`s, during the heydays of Viennese Electronic Music, he starts becoming an enthusiast for the electronic music genre. Since 1999 he is an active member and DJ within the Vienna Club Scene. Since 1999 he works under his producer name Peter Czak and the artist’s names Mastox und Caurus at the Vienna Clubs Pratersauna, Massiv, Ost-Klub, Celeste, and Fluc. 2015 he organized two signature event series at Fluc under the names of „Heart Beat“ and „Motor Club“. As a resident and host he featured Erdem Tunakan, Alpha Tracks, Philip Quehenberger, Klaus Benedek und Slack Hippy. Peter Czak was a guest of DJ Makossa (head of music FM4 Radio) at Celeste and Pratersauna, as well as during the weekly radio show FM4 Swound Sound. Peter Czak is special guest in various FM4 radio shows e.g. Swound Sound, La Boum de Luxe, Tribe Vibes und Liquid Radio. Since 2008 he publishes his own productions under his label „Czak Recordings“. 2012 he studied Multimedia at the Vienna School of Graphics „Die Graphische“ in 1140 Vienna.

In 2017 Peter Czak published a series of animated videos on Youtube together with Sito Schwarzenberger (Visual Artist & Grafic Designer), which were published by the Berlin based music label Emerald & Doreen (Milky Way Album und Shake Album). 2017 he published „Before The Rise „EP“ on Vinyl with the Vienna Music Label forTunea Records in a limited Edition of 300 records. Peter Czak receives international support from Danilo Plessow (Inverse Cinematics / Motor City Drum Ensemble). Since 2012 Peter Czak cooperates with electronic artist Philipp Quehenberger. 2019 a Vinyl Single was recorded on Minimal Soul Records where Peter Czak was the Mixing Engineer. Peter Czak writes soundtracks and works with the Austrian sound artist Bruno Pisek since 1998. Since 2014 many recordings have been produced. Czak Recordings releases deep-electronica without any genre boundaries. The label is run by Peter Czak from Vienna, Austria, Europe.
